Water-Themed Sunday

Sunday started with my new Bluey bucket saying, beach please! I packed my tools, built sandy things at Santa Cruz Beach, ate roasted duck at dim sum, rested my little engine, and finished with swim lesson plus extra laps.

My Sunday Timeline

First I had beach ideas. Then my day turned sandy, bubbly, ducky, and splashy.

Bucket Mission Begins

I told Daddy my new Bluey bucket needed sand work. Then I carried it to the car like a very serious beach boss.

Sand Project Office

At the beach, I got busy right away. My bucket, shovel, and hands all had important construction jobs.

Birthday Cake Sand

I made a birthday cake out of sand and put candles on top. Sand cake is not for eating, even if it looks important.

Pop Pop Science

The bucket also brought bubbles from Friday. I blew them into the beach air and watched them do tiny shiny zooms.

Bubble Bottle Soup

Then I put sand in the bubble bottle and stirred it. Was it naughty? Maybe. Was my curious brain awake? Very yes.

Roasted Duck Power

We went to Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant for dim sum. I liked the roasted duck because my body wanted protein with a crispy jacket.

Lap Pool Dreaming

Coach Lana gave me extra swim time while Daddy did his workout. After my lesson, I stood by the lap pool and watched the grown-up swimmers go back and forth like fast fish with goggles.

A friendly person told me, "One day you can swim that good too!" I liked that idea very much. Then Daddy found an empty lane, so we hopped in and did a few laps together, just me and my big swimming teammate.
