Ready For Whales
I got dressed early because whales do not wait for sleepy people.

Daddy and I woke up early and drove south to Moss Landing. Our boat left at 9:30, and this was my third whale watching trip. I brought my smile, my whale eyes, and many very important fish thoughts. The boat crew gave me a big life jacket.
I started by going to the ocean, then I saw whales, came home for games, helped with steak, ate dinner, and still had more splash energy.
I got dressed early because whales do not wait for sleepy people.
I sat on the boat in the life jacket from the crew. My ocean adventure face was already turned on.
I stood on the deck and smiled big because I was looking at a whale.
Two whales came up from the water. They were giant and sneaky at the same time.
I saw a whale tail and then I knew something important: I want to be a fish because fish has a tail.
Back at home, I played a game with Daddy. I was very Pig the Pug about it and did not want Daddy to win.
Daddy cooked steak at home, and I reminded him when to flip it. I am small, but I know about time.
The steak had a nice color and onion friends. It looked juicy, so Daddy's fork got interested.
I ate the steak and gave it my quiet chewing approval.
After dinner, I went to the pool. My body still had zooms, so I splashed them out.
On the way home, my brain did not want to take a nap, so I made Daddy do giant math. He did 6 by 6 by 6 without a calculator, which is suspiciously smart. Then I learned one thousand by one thousand is one million, and one million by one thousand is one billion. I asked about one thousand billion by one thousand billion by one thousand billion too. Daddy said it was a very big number. I said I want to be a book because books have many pages.
