Last Day at Bright Horizons

Friday was packed like my backpack. I helped my dog brother, found my new classroom, carried extra goodie bags, did school work, and watched a fancy steak parade.

My Friday Timeline

My morning started with careful pet helper work. Then I practiced being a new-school kid and a last-day friend on the very same day.

Dog Brother Checkup

My dog brother had his big health checkup and vaccine pokes. I waited with him while the medicine helpers got everything ready.

I Found E5

After the animal hospital, I visited Challenger School. I found my new classroom door, and the little sign said E5, so my eyes did good detective work.

I met my new teachers and held the important papers. The classroom was so roomy that my feet could almost hear an echo.

Extra Goodie Bag Delivery

Then I went back to Bright Horizons for my last day there. I carried two extra goodie bags, because a friend mission should have enough treasures.

Tiny Home Designer

I explored homes from our community and around the world. I built with wood pieces and made my own house ideas stand up straight.

I sounded out a little word with three letter cards. The letters had to line up correctly, because words do not like standing in silly order.

Fancy Steak Parade

For dinner we tried a Brazilian steakhouse. The cooking looked fancy, but my mouth still remembered Birk's and did not clap very loudly.
