My Building Plan
I wrote my answer for "Today I will make ___." I picked building, because blocks need a boss.

Challenger School was closed, so I went back to Bright Horizons for two weeks. At first my face said, "No thank you, I want Challenger." Then I found out William and Eleanor were in my classroom too, and my heart did a little bounce.
I started the day with a tiny grump, found friendly faces, built things, saw Miss Esme, ate soup dumplings, checked the playground, and jumped into pool mode.
I wrote my answer for "Today I will make ___." I picked building, because blocks need a boss.
I practiced making towers with ten cubes. Ten is a lot when the cubes keep having opinions.
In the hallway I saw Miss Esme. She was so excited, and I became a very shy little noodle.
Daddy ordered Din Tai Fung, and I could not wait. I went downstairs to get the bag by myself.
I drank the soup from my Xiao Long Bao first. This is serious food science.
I checked the playground for buddies like the three brothers. No buddies, but the slide still needed me.
I put on my TYR jammer and goggles. My swimming outfit said, "Excuse me, I am professional."
At bedtime Daddy asked which old teachers I remembered. Miss Esme and Miss Karen did not surprise Daddy because Daddy saw them too, and Miss Shafon did not surprise him either because my classroom teacher said Miss Shafon came to peek at me. Then I said Miss Morgan too. Daddy's eyebrows jumped up, because I remembered her all by myself. My brain keeps old teachers in a tiny treasure box.
