Weekend Pancakes

Mommy went traveling, so Daddy and I started our big two-week team job. Day one was a very Saturday Saturday: pancakes, soccer, snacks, swimming, ramen, and one playground stop because my legs still had ideas.
I moved through the day like a very busy little calendar. Breakfast first, then sporty legs, snacks, splashes, noodles, and one last climb.
Daddy made my crispy Chinese pancake. It was salty, happy, and very good at disappearing.
At soccer, I did my stretch on the grass. My legs were getting ready to be fast.
In the afternoon I asked for grapes. Daddy served them, and I did the important eating part.
Before the gym, Daddy asked if I wanted sweet corn. Why not? Corn is yellow, juicy, and very convincing.
I put on all my pool gear. Goggles mean I am serious about splashing.
After the pool, I changed the dinner plan. Burgers are good, but ramen won the noodle election.
I visited the playground before going home. Just a few minutes, but my climbing hands were happy.
